After so many months of running Heroics, the journey that started with the first heroic achievement finally ended on 12 January 2010. The day was literally spent chaining Heroics that I needed to complete Glory of the Hero and obtain a Red Proto-Drake.
I wish to thank Borgthor, Jondayla, Embion, Lucah [who valiantly sacrificed herself in H AN], Guanyu and Obento for helping me with my dungeon runs. Mostly importantly, to the awesome H GD group i got a few days before. It was them that finally pushed me to complete the Meta Achievement.
With luck and good dps, we finally achieved Less-Rabi which is notoriously hard and extremely luck dependent. We started with the mage using Counterspell, effectively rendering him useless for 8 seconds. The 2nd interrupt came just as I missed my Mind Freeze [kudos to the warrior tank] and then, he stunned all of us. Just before he could do his 3rd cast, I managed to use Strangulate on him.
And so, this ends a journey....and the start of another. If given a chance, I would love to have Beanie obtain the mount as well. But for now, I can leave for Brunei with a peace of mind. Cya in February. Oh that SS above? I fell while running from Anomalous' Rifts. Quite embarassing.
