I got a new mouse few days ago, from Razer [those guys make good gaming stuff], named the Lachesis. It's one of the fastest that I have ever used at, my old Razer Diamondback is 1200 DPI; Lachesis can hit a maximum of 4000 DPI.
The grip feels different as well, with the side hotkeys less protruding out. While I'm happy with the flatter, large side buttons of Lachesis compared to those of Diamondback, the buttons on the right side of the mouse proves a bit more tricky to use. In the Diamondback, the buttons are protruding out, making it easier for the lesser used ring finger to click on it. For Lachesis, I have to click harder which is bleh since I hotkey "-" to that side buttons. [- on my action bars are usually spammable abilites, like Scourge Strike, Mind Flay and Incinerate ect.]
No worries, I'm sure I'll be able to adjust. After all, when I got my Diamondback 4 years ago i hardly use the right buttons and had to train myself to use it. Same with the speed. Guess I'll use my tatics as before, slowly increasing the speed till I can hit 4000 DPI. After that, bon voyage!
Look at the cool deadly red glow [it comes in blue and white on the website so I'm honestly surprised to find a red Lachesis in store]
Did I mention my WotLK mousepad is by Razer as well? It's totally awesome.
