The Youth Olympic Games Opening Ceremony has come and gone, the result of numerous hours devoted to rehearsals and missed raids. In the end, despite all the grouches and complaining, it's pretty worth it.
Taking part in the opening ceremony certainly makes me appreciate the large amount of efforts that was put into every big show. Being able to be involved, and to drive a freaking huge dragon prop to boot, is indeed a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
