Welcome back to another installment of Unliving. Today, we shall take a look at the Frost DK. Contrary to popular beliefs, Frost tree is not THE tanking tree of Deathknights. Frost DKs can deal equal if not better damage compared to their Blood or Unholy counterparts.

So what makes a Frost DK stand out?

• As name suggested, it deals Frost damage mostly although physical dmg in the form of Obliterate cannot be ignored.
• Frost DK is an insane crit machine
• Good AoE via Howling Blast, Blood Boil and Death and Decay
• Obliterate as the primary Double Rune attack
• Signature attack, Frost Strike, uses Runic Power instead of Runes
• 2 Double Rune abilities
  

• Annihilation makes Obliterate a spammable attack without the hassle of refreshing your disease.
• Icy Talons and Imp Icy Talons gives the DK's Melee white dmg better and a raid buff to other melees
• Killing Machine is what makes Frost DK an insane crit machine
• Deathchill gives you an on-demand crit for your main nuke. Use it on either Frost Strike or Obliterate
• Merciless Combat makes you hit harder when boss' dying, especially if used when Heroism is up.
• Rime gives you a free nuke AND increases your crit rate
• Unbreakable Armor not only increases your STR but your AP too if you have Bladed Armor
• Tundra Stalker makes you deal more damage if target have Frost Fever on it
• Howling Blast is the Frost DK 2nd Double Rune ability and also our main AoE attack. If glyphed, it can be use to apply Frost Fever too.
  

• Works using only Frost Fever
• Only 3 buttons are pushed: Obliterate, Howling Blast and Frost Strike
• Used in Blood Presence
• 3 points in Virulence helps with getting Spell Hit
• Uses Howling Blast to apply Frost Fever instead of Icy Touch
  

• It's the Icy Touch spam spec
• Obliterate is used only to generate Death Rune
• Rely on 1 disease only

1. Usage of Unbreakble Armor is similar to how Ghoul Frenzy is used:

   /cast Blood Tap
   /cast Unbreakable Armor
   When you have used up your runes except for the 2 Blood, click on the macro twice [once for Blood Tap, the 2nd for UA]
2. If you dont have Sigil of Vengeful Heart, use Deathchill for Obliterate instead.
3. While Sigil of Awareness works for Frost as well, Sigil of Vengeful Heart is the only thing in the game that can increase a Frost DK's DPS TREMENDOUSLY
