Hey hey, back again with another weekly recap. This week, its the Christmas Season with families spending the day together doing whatever they're doing. My stocking's filled with phat lewts so I'm not complaining about having the Ancient's usual raid night [on Thurs which is Xmas itself] called off.
Presents abound in both Reality and in the World of Warcraft. Everyone gets to open 4 presents, containing cookies, ham, this year's present and a random Winter Veil companion which douches sell for ridiculous amounts just like small eggs.New spanking title for the dedicated people. Zel had to work doubly hard to ensure he is attuned for Fa-la-la-la-Ogrila. Nothing much to say about this year's gift. No doubt it'll be obselete once Winter Veil is over.
On Saturday, 2 days after Christmas, the Ancients took to raiding the Chamber of Aspects: Obsidian Sanctum. Pretty fast run of 30mins with 3 free EoHs. Sarth himself does not prove to be difficult to handle, having down him within our first attempt. Maybe next time we'll get him TOGETHER with the drakes up.
Ahhh, the sexy helmet that is the reason why I want a Sarth run. Sure, its a downgrade but hey, looking sexy beats having slightly more DPS.
On Monday night, Zeltan took his first step into the Eye of Eternity, the lair of Malygos the Spellweaver. I have absolutely no idea why I was picked so randomly while skinning off the coast of Wetlands but hey, maybe my reputation of awe-sauce DPS surpasses me LOL.
You can enter the lair itself without engaging Malygos. A key a needed to activate an orb in the centre of the room. No trash, just the Aspect of Magic himself. He flies around taunting you in his soothing, sexy voice [kudos to his voice actor!]

DKs can pop Icebound Fortitude with Anti-Magic Shell for maximum damage negation during this phase. Takes a hell lot of stress away from your healers' mana.
Phase Two occur when he reaches 50% health. It's a fun phase really, with melee being able to hop onto the Hover Disc for some Back-to-the-Future style fist fighting!
All in all, the encounter can be finished within 10 mins. Thats cos his enrage timer starts from first engaging him.
